Swine flu warning video from 1976 outbreak
This recently swine flu outbreak isn’t the first time that there has been concern over a version of swine flu. In 1976, there was a public health scare that also focused around the potential spread of swine flu. The US government implemented a swine flu vaccination program in an attempt to stop the potential spread. These are a series of public service commercials that ran in the United States in 1976 which urged people to get the swine flu shot and also talked about the danger of spreading the germs to other people.
